  • Do you offer quotes?

    Yes! It helps us offer you the most accurate quote if you have an idea of your guest count and what menu items you’re interested in. Prices are available on each menu per person, with prices potentially ranging anywhere between $22 per person and $75 per person. Call us today for boxed lunch catering and more.

  • Do you provide plates, cutlery, linens, glassware, etc?

    We provide attractive compostable bamboo or palm plates, napkins, and cutlery for $3 per guest. Plateware, metal cutlery, glassware, and linens are available for rental fees. Learn more about our boxed lunch catering services by getting in touch with us today.

  • Do you provide tables and chairs?

    When you order boxed lunch catering from our team, we can assist in arranging for table and chair rentals to be delivered, but we do not have stock of our own available.

  • What is the event production fee?

    Producing events can be very expensive and time-consuming, and this fee helps take care of many hidden costs that we need to cover. The industry standard for this fee ranges from 18% to 20% of your invoiced line items and is non-negotiable. This accounts for the cost of serving platters, utensils, warming dishes for the buffet, trays for passed foods, hot or cold boxes to keep foods the correct temperature, gas and travel, managing the rentals, the “behind the scenes” staff that preps, loads and unloads, washes dishes post-event, rinses and returns the rentals, kitchen facility fees, insurance, continuous flow of communication, and much more. These are many of the hidden fees that go into producing events, and why service or event production fees are charged to the client. This charge does not include serving staff or gratuity.   • Do you supply serving staff?

    Yes, we can make sure that serving staff are available for your event to run smoothly. The number of staff needed is based on the number of guests. The higher the guest count, the more serving staff is needed for set up, service needs, bussing, and breakdown. The number of staff required for events over 50 guests is at Chef Lisa’s discretion, and non-negotiable.   • Do we need to feed our vendors (DJ, photographer, event coordinator, bartender, venue owner, etc.)?

    Yes, it's important to supply boxed lunch catering for your vendors. We believe it would be cruel and unusual to not feed your hard-working event team! 

  • Do you provide bartenders and alcohol?

    Red's Kitchen And Catering does not have bartenders on staff, but we do work closely with bartending companies and are happy to put the client in touch with preferred and recommended bar services. According to Brandon Gaille, 80% of catering services focus their efforts on off-site catering events. At our off-site events, we do not provide any alcohol, and it is between the client and the bartending company to discuss who will provide alcohol, garnishes, ice, mixers, champagne service signature cocktail recipes, and any/all other bartending services. We're here to answer all questions, including any about corporate or boxed lunch catering events.

  • Do you provide tastings?

    Yes, we can arrange for a tasting for your event, to a point. Tastings are typically reserved for weddings, or events of 150 guests or more, and are included in the event production fee if hired. Tastings last about 90 minutes, and take place at our commercial kitchen space, during which the menu of your choosing is presented. After the tasting, we will sit and discuss any changes that should be made, the event timeline, and what to expect for how we will work with your timeline.   • We have a strict budget. Is it possible to create our own custom menu?

    Yes, we are happy to work with most budgets to keep people fed without breaking the bank. We have developed crowd-pleasing menus for many events, keeping in mind that many times your budget already includes what you want to spend on taxes and fees. Staff Services and Pricing

Serving Staff (minimum 5-hour shift)

$225 per Staff member

$275 MAST certified server for beer/wine/bubbles only

Delivery Only- $50

Delivery & Set-Up- $150

Delivery, Set Up, and Return for borrowed items- $250

On-Site Personal Chef- $500

Beverages

Coffee & Tea Service-includes regular and decaf coffee, hot water for tea, assortment of teas, compostable cups with lids, stir sticks, oat milk and half n half, sugar cubes, honey, stevia, $4.00

Non-Alcoholic Drink Service- an assortment of bottled water, sparkling water, iced black and green teas, $4.00

Add Sodas-Coca Cola products, $3.00

Bottled Water Only- $3.00

Invoicing

Upon approval of your estimate, it will be converted to an invoice, and we require a deposit of 25% of your invoice total to secure your date. This deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations

The client may cancel its catering order up to 30 calendar days prior to the Event Date without penalty. If a catering order is cancelled between 7-30 calendar days prior to the Event Date, the client will be responsible for payment of 50% of the total catering fee. If a catering order is cancelled within seven calendar days of the Event Date, the client will be responsible for payment of 100% of the total catering fee.

Late Payments

Final payments are due 48 hours prior to the Event Date. Any payment made after the Event Date will accrue a 10% late fee per day, for each day that the payment has not been made.
